Yes. Penta Rock Homes is a fully licensed and registered builder with the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA) — the mandatory registration required for any builder in Ontario to sell newly built homes. We are also registered with Tarion, the new home warranty program. Both registrations are prerequisites for buyers to access the Enhanced HST Rebate on a new home purchase.
Tarion is the Ontario new home warranty program. All newly built homes sold by an HCRA-registered builder must be enrolled with Tarion before permits are issued. Your Tarion warranty covers: deposit protection (if the builder cannot complete the home), delayed closing compensation, and a tiered warranty on workmanship (1 year), systems (2 years), and structural defects (7 years). It is included in the price of every Penta Rock home at no additional cost to you.
